Preparing the necessary documents for a temporary residence permit is not the only condition for a successful result. It is equally important to meet deadlines – the application and the entire package of documents should be submitted no later than six months before the expiration of the temporary residence permit. You must live under the temporary residence permit for at least a year.
Documents from Germany must be apostilled, a certificate of change of name, a certificate of no criminal record and all documents that were issued for the first time in Germany, for example a marriage certificate, are mandatory.
❏ Identity and citizenship document
passport of a foreign citizen, original.
Translation certified by a notary; all pages of the passport must be stitched together.
(all visas, all border crossing stamps, valid visa. RVP and registration stamp)
❏ Birth certificate, original.
❏ A document confirming that the applicant has funds that provide him and his members with
families living in the Russian Federation, the subsistence minimum, or a document,
confirming his incapacity:
❏ income certificate of an individual or
❏ income tax return, with a mark from the tax authority or
❏ a certificate from the place of work, or
❏ pension certificate, or
❏ a certificate from the social security agency on receipt of benefits, or
❏ confirmation of receipt of alimony, or
❏ a certificate of the presence of a deposit in a credit institution, indicating the account number or
❏ certificate of inheritance, or
❏ a certificate of income of the person on whom the applicant is dependent, or
other document confirming receipt of income from activities not prohibited by law
or disability.
❏ Document on change of surname:
❏ marriage certificate, or
❏ certificate of divorce, or
❏ a certificate from the registry office, in case of repeated changes of surname.
❏ Marriage certificate.
❏ INN.
❏ Application for a residence permit for a foreign citizen – 2 copies.
❏ 4 photos on matte paper 35×45 mm (including minors).
❏ Medical certificate (including for children) of absence of dangerous infections,
HIV Infections
❏ Certificate of knowledge of the Russian language and knowledge of the history of Russia and the basics of legislation
Russian Federation
This certificate can be replaced by an education document. The original certificate or diploma of graduation from school before 1991 in the former republics of the USSR is attached. Important: if a person graduated from school after 1991, he/she must pass the exam
Women over 60, men over 65, children under 18, and participants in the state resettlement program are exempt from the Russian language test.
❏ Receipt for payment of state duty
for issuing a residence permit to a foreign citizen or stateless person,
including in case of its replacement – 5000 rubles.
