Important information for everyone who sends parcels from Germany to Russia!
With the entry into force of the 10th package of EU sanctions against Russia, the shipment of used items is prohibited.
This means that items marked as “used”, “personal items”, “gebraucht” and similar are not allowed to be shipped. The EU regulation is about an absolute ban without reference to the value of the goods.
Now, all items must be described in detail in the declaration, without general categories. “Items”, “clothes” must now be listed by specific names. For example, “trousers”, “socks”, “shirt” and similar.
Such goods as: machine oils, brake pads, bearings, belts and many other spare parts for motor vehicles are prohibited from being shipped.
✅ Our comment: “You can still send used items, but now you can’t write this in the declaration for the parcel. We repeat once again, these are the requirements of German customs. On the Russian side, everything is unchanged.”
This information was confirmed to us at the Russian Post office in Berlin. All parcels collected in Germany by DHL and Russian stores are sent to Russia through them.
