Private visa for German citizens

Частная виза для граждан Германии

Validity of a private visa

A private Russian visa for German citizens can be single, double or multiple. It is issued for a period of 30 days to one year with the possibility of staying in Russia for the entire period of the visa without leaving the Russian Federation.

Obtaining a private visa by invitation

Russian citizens (as well as foreign citizens with a residence permit in the Russian Federation) or companies have the right to apply to the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation to issue an invitation to enter Russia for citizens of Germany. Based on this invitation, you can get a private visa to the Russian Federation for up to 90 days (with a single or double entry). If a German citizen is invited to the Russian Federation by an individual, he must apply to the body of the Main Directorate for Migration Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation at the place of his registration. If a foreign citizen is invited by a company, the application is submitted to the Main Directorate for Migration Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation at the place of accreditation of this company.

An invitation for a private visa is issued on a Ministry of Internal Affairs form in paper or electronic form with an individual number. The issuance of a private invitation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs takes up to 30 days, during which checks are carried out to clarify the presence or absence of a criminal record, as well as visa and administrative violations of this foreign citizen. If a German citizen has violated Russian law during previous trips, the invitation will be denied.
